$16 used for a half finished game seemed like a fair price so I grabbed it and a Microsoft points card 109 KB for the "DLC" F YOU CAPCOM *downloads it anyway* F you Game isn't that bad though The Combo system is nice but for some reason I can't get it to install to the Hard Drive I'll have to clean the disc. Why am I so quick to forgive Capcom on this one? Aliens Colonial Marines Compared to what Gearbox did Street Fighter X Tekken is nothing. Edit: Finally got it to install and since it's not taxing my Drive I put it through the ringer. It doesn't feel as been there done that as UMVC3 But it still feels like a rush job. It has a nice Combo System though but I can't say even if it's cheap go buy it.
Apparently they patched it recently to make it faster, which'd be sorely needed, because like every match I played in this piece of crap ended in a time out. I'm sure Pandora is still useless and the gem system where you can buy gems with no drawback with real money is still retarded.
I got the patch right away. it does play fast I'll give it that. But the game still reeks of no effort. My two mains in Tekken Tag 2, Nina and Lili play almost NOTHING like their counter parts in real tekken. It's like Capcom wanted to make another SF IV revision but decided to just shove a bunch of Tekken characters in it split the game in half and charge double for it. For what I paid for it, it's an OK game and not as bad as UMVC3 is but it's just as unessessary. This is a game that needed more time in the oven. I may hack it to put Mega Man and Pac Man back in the game too.
Yeah, "no effort" sums this game up pretty well. Does this game still turn off all the music and most of the sounds when you play online? I hated that, and it's probably the main reason why I quickly stopped playing this game. No idea what that's about when all the other Capcom fighters are just fine online, I liked the soundtrack too...some of the backdrops like the dinosaur one are cool too, but that's basically all the praise I'm giving this game. Also, no guest players when playing online on 360? Oh come on, you gave some excuse about "the technology not being there", but if Halo 4 can have them, this game surely could've too? The 360 version of this game was really like the developers pissing all over everyone who owned a 360.
I haven't even attempted it on line yet. I doubt I will, I'll probably just milk it for achievements and put it away and pray the Namco version is better and releases for this generation. Developer Fanboyism is pretty retarded. My opinion of the game hasn't changed since buying it. It's Capcom's biggest fuck you to fans I've ever seen. At least I got it used...but they still got $20 from me and that is very VERY sad. I should have just hacked that bitch. Mortal Kombat has Guest players too. OH I almost forgot. The AI in this game it's dumb as fuck. It takes NO effort to beat single player. UGh, you know this bullshit is only going to get worse next gen.
I was tempted to buy it in the recent Steams ale, then I saw the costume DLC doubled the price of the game and thought fuck it, I won't bother.
Yeah boo hoo DLC on disc debacle. (Older games in the first few years did that. Yet no one seemed to give a fuck. MGS4 for example had ALL of it's MP DLC maps on disc from launch. Yet you had to pay like 5-15$ I think to unlock it. If you didn't have them, you could get into matches in them in match making. From what I've heard, the PC version is completely broken. And I'm pretty sure most people care more about SFxT playing like shit than the DLC thing now.
My Opinion of Streeet Fighter X Tekken X You Wallet Street Fighter the Movie the Game IS A BETTER GAME than Street Fighter X Tekken. I DID get 1 DLC costume last night for Nina just because I had excess points from my XBOX Ambassadors duty so I got her school girl outfit. I'll just get the outfits I like with Points I didn't even pay for. All in Street Fighter X Tekken is Bullshit. Ignore the DLC deal. The game reeks of being half assed. The Gems system totally breaks the game. The Tekken Chracters doesn't even PLAY like they should Where are Nina's Kick Combos I used since Tekken 3? Does anyone at Capcom Even PLAY Tekken I know it's SF Style but COME On make the Tekken characters play like SFized versions of Tekken Chracters not Change their entire move sets so they're Street Fighter characters. Oh and it's disgusting going into the shop is an achivement like Capcom is like Hey fucker Spend more money on the game. I don't Blame Ono for this I blame Capcom Management. if there's a Darkstalkers 4 count me out. I will however get a 3DS JUST for Project X Zone. Mortal Kombat. Mortal Kombat did everything right. On Disc DLC? YES BUT not the way you think. They just have a Body Base for the DLC Characters 1 male and 1 female. It has an online pass but fuck it, it's good online it's sorta worth paying for if you buy it used. It plays AMAZING best playing MK ever the Story mode IS THE 3RD MOVIE. I have Nothing but good things to say about Mortal Kombat. I am SO going to get Injustice when it's out.
I saw this on sale for 49 Reais last week. For a sealed game, that's very cheap. Anyway, i didn't bought it. Simply can't support something like DLC on disc. Maybe i'll get a used copy later on (when people start selling their current gen stuff to help pay for the next gen), but that's a big maybe. The "Komplete" edition is on my backlog wishlist. No online pass and all DLC.
I can't either but for what they were asking. It was worth the risk and Capcom would only see half the money. It's sad Capcom saw any of my money from this half assed game at all. Then again I've paid for Capcom Fighting Evolution. So... Blah
