this morning I switched on my Saturn for some brief Silvergun lovin', but surprisingly, upon pressing Start Game I am immediately transferred to Xiga, the final boss! What the heck! So I change the options to "Saturn Mode", start again and now I'm taken to various insanely difficult (with my weapons unleveled) bosses, with all sorts of spiritual babble from the Stone-Like in between. WHAT? I just wanted some easy-going Stage 3A!

Anybody else notice this? Maybe it's the clock?
    (I checked, today's NOT RSG's tenth anniversary)

PS long time no see, eh? :)

    I did something similar.

Put in Hyper Duel. Turned on Saturn.
Got the Saturn options screen. :(

Ouch, but that's just a busted drive, no? What occurred to me was that the game worked perfectly, but instead of just starting it immediately took me to the final boss. Strange, I played it later that day and the 'problem' had vanished.

I don´t remember RS very well, but didn´t the Saturn version have some kind of save feature? Atleast iirc your weapon levelups could be carried over from one game session to the next.

Yeah, but there's a mod chip in my Saturn. Really don't want to have to fuck w/ any of that. I'm hoping I'll turn it on in a few weeks and it will work.
