not even remotely like whatever it is you are suggesting it might look like. As such I have no idea to what you might be refering. All things considered I suddenly feel the urge to go play some PS2 for some unknown reason On a more serious note, your g/friend must have been sat with you as she is back from holiday and when you suddenly cried "OMG a PS2 Tool!" she must be wondering what the world is coming too! "Dr. he sees consoles everywhere.... even when we are sitting watching films on TV, the buildings remind him of them..."
I just realized it looks like a PS2 I feel like adding a penis joke in here but I can't think of one funny enough at 8:15 AM
Man, you got to watch out for that! LOL - Only having a laugh, it goes to show what a bit of editing can do though in order to misrepresent the masses! That's the press and journalism instinct for you! ;-) There, job done - a penis joke!
haha, wow! I recognized it instantly. However, if you were to axe me 3 months ago I wouldn't have had a clue! Thanks ASSEMbler!
This could turn into one of those things were people spot the smallest errors/mistakes in films but we could spot consoles and anything that looks like them LOL took me a sec to realise what it was but i guess i am just slow.
I know it`s not even funny how much i drone on about this stuff to her, she`s a saint for putting up with it. I decided to watch Hard Boiled as John Woo`s Stranglehold is coming out for 360 in which Chow Yun Fat is playing detective tequila again. I nearly jumped out of bed and decided to take a screenie, PS2 TOOL in a film! I swear there is nothing worse than a dubbed film, except Shogun Assassin perhaps, which i enjoy as much as the kozure ogami originals.
Funny you should mention John Woo as not 10mins ago I converted an album inspired by "La Haine" and Mc Solaar's track is called "Comme dans un film du John Woo" (Like a John Woo film). It's the only track that hasn't aged. Must watch Hardboiled again just to view the building with my own eyes!
Make sure you watch a subbed version, i can`t handle the dubbing :-( My favourite bit in La Haine is when the DJ plays Sound of Da Police and Machine Gun Funk mixed together to the entire estate.
Yeah is that not the scene where a cow just suddenly appears from nowhere? I think it might be a reference to what the characters are doing however! ;-) I love the mix too - I have some of that DJ's material, but I have forgotten his name - it will be on the La Haine sound track. My album is sadly an "inspired by" spin off which came out on Delabel (Virgin France) as a few inner city / urban artists were moved by the film and they worked together with the director. In between certain tracks there are audio / vocal snippets from the film. This is the album, but despite what the website suggests it is NOT the sound track, or atleast the album cover they have used is incorrect: http://cd.ciao.co.uk/La_Haine_Original_Soundtrack__5896605 This is the track list / artist list from the film: Burnin' and Lootin' (04:15) Bob Marley Funk Funk (04:47) Cameo Outstanding (03:14) Gap Band The Beat Goes On (06:58) Ripple That Loving Feeling (06:38) Isaac Hayes More Bounce to the Ounce (05:14) Zapp And Roger Mon Espirit Part en C...
