I have a massive exam tomorrow afternoon and I've just come down with a huge fever, a thumping headache and a sore throat. I'm stressing out massively because my uni are bastards and won't give mitigating circumstances unless you are literally dead, so I have no choice but to sit the exam. Does anyone have any tips for calming myself down or perhaps making myself feel a bit better? even just telling me it will all be ok would probably help
You may also have a package tomorrow too muahahaha You could always try not giving a shit about the exams as that usaually works. Your whole future may or may not be riding on it, but if you just go in there and do your best as if it was any other day you will do OK. Heck I scored well enough on my army BARB to get any job and passed my driving theory with no sleep and little food. I also passed my practical test with very few lessons, saved a fortune mastering the clutch on private land. Once I mastered the clutch everything else fell into place. You can do the same too provided you are literate and even remotely competant so you will find there is very little to worry about at all. In case you're of the teletubbie generation the exams have actually gotten easier too so I wouldn't worry. Oh and one last thing. University will teach you everything you need to know, except for everything you need to know so it really isnt the end of the world. Out of interest what are you studying?
Oooh really? awesome How much do I owe you? I'm studying a BSc in biomedical science, a course for people who weren't quite good enough for medicine lol In my case, university teaches me that we are all liars and even people undergoing chemotherapy shouldn't be allowed to do assessed practicals a day after they are scheduled because the note from the hospital and all the scans are probably fake (Actually happened to my friend) And thank you you've actually really calmed me down Right off to face the music soon wish me luck
