I've kinda always enjoyed taking pictures of random stuff that I find in my various adventures, and I'm going to an art college for digital animation, so I figured I'd apply for some scholarships at the college using my photos, and much to my surprise, I've earned around $20,000 in scholarships. Pretty neat for not having any training in photography I uploaded a some of my favorite pictures that I've taken to a website, so if you'd like to take a look go ahead! feel free to use them as a wallpaper or something if you feel like it, just try to remember to give me credit if you use anything anywhere else. http://imgur.com/a/LXN5n
first picture was just a canon SX120, kind like a high level point and shoot, second one was a Rebel of some kind. I borrowed it from my school...
Moar pix plz ^^ :Edit: Just spotted your link at the end. Some scary loc there. Like it much. And hey, congrats for your such easily earned scholarship
hahaa easily earned? A couple of these to get, I walked around for 3 hours in the snow when it was -5 degrees Fahrenheit! I couldn't feel my feet for hours, it probably didn't help that I was adventuring in the snow wearing converses riddled with holes...
That is pretty easy in comparison to what some people have to do for a living, plus they expect you'll work as hard for the rest of the time.
Nice shots. Congrats on the scholarship. One of my favorite shots I this past winter (and by far the most traffic generated on Flickr) I got in the freezing balls snow. I was safe as a kitten when I got that shot, but by the time the set was done, I had stepped in standing water a few times. Fucking COLD! And it took days for my shoes to dry.
I know, I was joking, I feel incredibly lucky to get payment and recognition for something I love to do.
I take most of my pictures in detroit, Two rivers WI, and a town called Sodus near the Indiana Michigan border
