It doesn't help that Xbox Live does not have a option to take the damn thing off, and calling or the Xbox Live website did not help the situation. I can't find anything on Sega's website about it. How the hell do I unsubscribe? I've already lost quite a bit of money because of this crap.
https://billing.playsega.com/protected/securityCheck Go there and log in, and it should show your subscriptions there and you can unsubscribe there.
Yeah, but I don't have the game anymore, so I do not have a phone number I can call. Nor does Microsoft seem to have any help on this situation (I swear, I think the people on their tech support are from India).
did you dial the wrong number? "hi, id like to unsubscrive to PSU please" "well dont call me whining about it kid, im just an old man" "kthhx bye"
Yeah I got a guy from india too. I had to spell "cherry" out for him. And Tacoma. And Washington. And he thought Washington was on the East coast. I got his supervisor on the phone eventually because of my problem and it was a normal guy...i dunno if it was an indian dude in USA or if i was connected to india...
I only have played PSU on pirate servers and never subscribed but if you are having trouble with getting the account shutoff then you should report the problem to the BBB and then phone the company. Tell them your problem and tell them you have filed a complaint and ask to speak to the highest manager there. Explain to him they will be investigated by the BBB and then ask for his name. By this time he should be scared enough to just handle canceling it for you
I have the 360 version, and I played it online for a short while. After a few weeks, I decided I wanted to unsubscribe. A few people pointed out the Playsega website, but that did not help. I ended up calling the Xbox 360 customer service, and the guy there helped me a lot. He cancelled the subscription for me, so that went pretty good. I don't see why you shouldn't call the customer service and have them cancel the subscription.
I don't know who you got, but when I called customer service, I was told it was Sega's problem and that I should call them. Anywho, thanks for the number PhreQuencYViii, i'll try it later.
Yup...I dealt with the Xbox hotline a lot since my 360 has been dying left and right and I played PSO on old Xbox....they are the ones who cancel it. Even funnier though is the fact that neither Sega or Xbox can tell me who is in charge of game content updating, seeing as its been Christmas in Xbox PSO for years.
Just say your card was lost, new card in days, no need to cancel, all charges to that card will bounce.
