Half the threads on here are people complaining about gaming now. I'm getting a big tired of it. I'm going to reverse that now. ONLY talk about what you're enjoying now. Be it old or new. I have been playing Ninja Giaden 3 Razor's Edge which fixed all the problems Ninja Gaiden 3 had, which of course means, they retooled the game and made it balls hard. I'm looking forward to getting my PS3 and all the excluives that come with that. After seeing From up on Poppy Hill, I broke my no more RPG rule and I'm getting Ni No Kuni with it as well as Under Defeat HD, Ico/Shadow of colossus and Blaz Blue Continnium shift extend (since Chrono Phantasma will be PS3 exclusive I might as well start getting used to the series on PS3) SO that's what I'm digging in Gaming right now. You? NO Old man bitching now.
Hmmm... I'm playing Super Metroid on my Wii U, Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner Soul Hackers on my 3DS, and The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time on the 3DS. I'm looking forward to Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D, Animal Crossing New Leaf, Shin Megami Tensei IV, Project X Zone, A Link to the Past 2, the Wind Waker remake, Pikmin 3, and... Sturmwind if Play-Asia ever gets it restocked (which they seem to think they will, but Red Spot Games hasn't gotten back to me on whether or not it will ever actually happen).
After digging my PSP out from under its very thick dust cover, I've been playing Persona 3 Portable. Beyond that, haven't played many games recently.
Kinda liking Rayman Origins, which I've probably said before. Have to re-complete it, and I plan to upload a complete relic guide as soon as I finish the story. Hoping it hasn't been done. I'm showing a friend through Bioshock tomorrow because he's never played it. I was shocked, because he's a big gamer with good taste. AND- I'm taking a stall on other gaming because I've got exams and work is piling up over my head. Will be back in mid june!
I've been playing Space Harrier on the Saturn lately. It's fun, but it's pretty challenging. I also recently finished Bioshock Infinite. I had issues with the gameplay and the story, but overall I enjoyed it. I thought it was visually impressive if nothing else.
Giving Castlevania HD another go. Have been rather displeased when I bought it initially but after time and adding DLC characters, especially Fuma and Simon Belmont it's a really enjoyable game. Gotta love the origins level.
Yeah, this is actually the third time I've played through the game on any format. Too bad they didn't put in the FES content, but they were probably short on space considering the animated cutscenes are gone too. At least you can give direct orders, so no more Marin fucking Karin.
Counter Strike: Global Offensive. Bought it over a year ago but only in the last month have I had a machine that can run it (maxed out ) Whereas I used to be ok at source I appear to be quite good at CS:GO, maybe it's age that has made the difference. I play with an Apple Magic Mouse too so 1st and 2nd place in deathmatches is nothing short of a miracle with such a handicap. Anyway enough boasting, great game and I can't get enough of it at the moment, if anyone wants to add me on Steam my handle is Terribl3Tim.
I've been debating getting it but I'm such a huge Persona fan it's very temping. If Persona 5 is announced soon I am going to go completely mental. We're long over due for it.
You are right too many complaints about gaming these days, arghh I do complain too TBH Right now enjoying in no particular order: - Bioshock Infinite on PS3, absolutely brilliant FPS, gorgeous as well - Zone of the Enders HD on PS3, got a promo copy yesterday for next to nothing, 2/3 through the first episode yep enjoying it - Fatal Fury Wild Ambition and Buriki One on the Hyper NeoGeo 64, good system, good games, massive motherboard!!! - Dead or Alive 5+ on Vita, amazing, still can't get over the fact that you set up the boob algorithm lol - YS 3 remake for PSP playing on my Vita, always loved YS 3 on PC Engine, this remake is very nice, but still doesn't have that magic that the PC Engine version has - Ridge Racer on Vita errrmm not everybody's choice, but I'm quite liking the concept of the game being mostly online. - Also playing a bit of Klonoa on PSX again running on da vita Nothing to retro at the moment, need to re-cap my DUO soon, missing Dracula X... Also in need of a Thunder Force fix
