I will always keep my Saturn hooked up because the great games are still second to none. They have never replaced the awesomeness of Sega Rally, Shining the Holy Arc, Shining Force III, Panzer Dragoon, Panzer Dragoon Zwei and Panzer Dragoon Saga. There might be faster prettier games like Virtua Cop 1+2 and Virtual On, but that doesn't make these games any less excellent. Daytona CE is still one of the best versions of the game. Powerslave, Duke 3D and Quake are still excellent, as is Death Tank Zwei. I refuse to accept a download only online registered version of Guardian Heroes negates the original. Dragon Force and Iron Storm are still awesome games. That isn't even getting into the Sega and Capcom fighters, which are still just as responsive and refined in gameplay as they were at their release. I can't stand how consumerism twists so many people's minds into thinking that if it doesn't look exactly like whatever is possible today it is automatically obsolete. These games and more will stay on my shelf until it becomes financially irresponsible to keep them.
