by radiant silvergun hd I meant they would have to redone it, not only upscale it to high resolution.
graphics would have to be updated nicely and if they could do it, do whole overhaul, something similar to new street fighter II hd/bionic commando (both coming soon) - that would look sick!
about the slowdowns at the end of each stage, this version wins in terms of frames per second (they are noticeable but not as much as seen in dc/gc version).
if you don't own it already, for $10 it is a no brainer(just like rez hd, 5.1 surround sound is fantastic :eek:h:).

But knowing Treasure, this would take so long that they might as well cancel the new game and just plan it for whatever the next-generation of consoles is.

I mean seriously, Ikaruga was rumored for Xbox360 and being worked a good while, and its just a straight forward port.

Are there also slowdowns during the stages, for example when you fire your homing lasers against a big crows of enemies?
I'd just like to know if the XBLA-Ikaruga is rather a GameCube or a Dreamcast-version ^o^

Preference of version would also depend on controller type as well.

So, which one "flows" better control-wise (based on its joystick, since the 360 has a softer stick than the GC and a lower controller profile)?

Depends on the size of the screen I'd say. I am delightened by the feeling an arcade cabinets stick gives you on shooters, but on the other hand I hate to use sticks when I was forced to play on a small yoko screen. It just didn't work out.
