"AV Intelligent Terminal High Grade Multipurpose Use" written on it? Beats me.

I understand the High Definition graphics models (printed on the case) without TMSS are earliest.

thanks for all your comments thus far  but you are all a little off, it has nothing to do with the text "AV Intelligent Terminal High Grade Multipurpose Use" as all genuine japanese megadrives should have that text < > understand your not wrong with your assumption but theres a better way ;-)

    And as a side note - -

The genuine Asian hong kong version removed the text completely, and the top case halo was modelled on the uk version, instead of a solid hoop or halo which you would find if you snapped the polished circle plastic from your true jap machine or Genesis Core. the asian version is a C shape with a solid red plastic surround around the power light it is kind of a shame the japanese surround is only a red transfer

besides it doesn't take any expert to ask when buying a supposed jap megadrive does it have RF written on the back of the casing or big brick RF module sitting inside :fresh:

Don't know and don't care :p. All I care about is if the unit is a true JPN system or Asian. That is easy enough to tell.

    lol

Hate to bust your bubble, but being able to use a full stop and a comma doesn't make you a scholar.

Also, you set yourself up for that last one - it was hardly me going out of my way for it.

I am afraid Bad_Ad84 is right.

Here. I will fix it for you so you can learn from your mistakes :)

"I am so sorry. I didn't realise that Burton on Trent was full of scholars.

I just thought that it was known for it's 'red light district', and rising number of unemployed.

I am glad that you are finding time in your busy work day, to pick holes in my post..."
