It was a pretty good game. I was kind of hoping the Bears would win and for a while I thought they would. The started of really strong, but the Colts got ahead at the end of the first half and completely dominated the second, which sucked. I'm really not attached to either team, but my roommate is a HUGE Bears fan, so I'll never hear the end of this (which is why I was hoping the Bears would win ). So, what did you guys thing of it?
I wasn't really interested in the game, but the commercials were worth it. I had my lcd projector set up with a bunch of friends over at the local comm. center. The Colts really smashed up a lot of the teams they went up against. as a commentator said, "They can only do a few things but they can do them very well."
It was an okay game (too many damn turnovers in the beginning). Some of the commercials were funny though.
Having never watched a game of american football I decided to go to the bar and watch this - To be honest I only watched the first quarter because I was tired (and It was about 1230 by the time it finished). Decided to root for the colts, mainly because I couldn't root for any team who's coach was called lovie! Gotta say it is a mighty confusing game, and damn slow! Still, I'm sure I would have enjoyed it more if I understood the rules! It was a great experience though, and amazing to see the americans in the bar getting really into it, I know how we must look like in the world cup now.
I watched it. I was cheering for the colts. The commercials were a toss up. some were hilarious others boring. The most memorable commercials for mef were: fed exs fist commercial, it was the one in space. Chevys cann't touch this. The old man dancing next to the car with the chicks in it was hilarious. Coke seemed to own the commercials with GTA and the crabs and their other ones at least did not have me fast forwarding the commercials The take off of ultra man. for the gps company Prince rocked. It was probly one of the only times he performed purple rain and it looked like it raining on him. I cann't imagine playing my guitar in the pouring rain.
I was actually more interested in the game than the commercials, but meh I guess there were some funny ones here and there. The coke commercials, like others have already mentioned, were pretty funny as well as some of the Chevy commercials.
The game was great in the first half. Then I lost interest shortly after the 3rd quarter because I knew the Colts had the game. Colts took the weather to their advantage by doing the short pass throws equaling in a steady gain in yards. The commercials overall where good. Not as good as they used to be from what I remember.
You are right on the commercials. They were better than last year but not as good as some years back.
That was showing in the movie theatres 2 Sundays back. I liked the part where he stops a guy and pulls him by the shirt just to give him a coke, lol. It was corny, but in a funny way.
I could hear the whole thing over the intercom... I watched a bit here, and I must say, having the game commentated in Japanese just fucking kills it.
I watched it, and was rooting for the Colts the whole way through. At first, I thought we were going to have a bad game with the Bear's touchdown on the kickoff, but then we came back. Good game overall, and I'm glad Peyton finally has his SB ring...he deserved it.
Yeh. THe touchdown on the kickoff reminded me of the BCS bowl, so it didn't mean that the colts were going to have a bad game .
