Don't get me wrong, I desperately want to play this. Maybe it's the fact that I now know that so little of the game is playable. Maybe (more probably) the collector in me saw shrink wrap and couldn't bear to tear it off. Either way, I've kept mine sealed and will wait for the official torrent release to download it and play it. Who else is in my sad, sick little club? :tongue:
Yo. I wanted to get two discs, but couldn't afford the money for a second one (one to play and one to keep sealed for the collection of course). I'll just wait for the torrent as well. At least playing it in nullDC will mean slightly less crashing.

I'm not hording games at all... I have one copy. What do you care what I do with it? I got a new DC game in 2012. Sorry if my first reaction wasn't making it look exactly like all the other used DC games I already own. Some people like to have new copies for display purposes. There's nothing at all wrong with that. Not like I'm putting this on eBay in 2 months with a 900 dollar Buy it Now.
One is staying sealed but i had to open one to put in a nice proper case to flesh out the look so i could see the inlay art.
If you're not opening it and your purpose is to sell it in the future, how would prove it's not cdr? I'll open mine for sure anyway, I don't like putting awful looking disc in this white beauty.
Well, it's just an easily fakeable shrinkwrap and besides, it has already been opened and touched P) by Assembler, so it wouldn't be like "fresh from the factory" anyways. And if that's not the case what's the point of sealed collecting?
ASSEMbler "is" the factory Also a sealed collection is a pointless collection. The staples may rust. The plastic may react. The paper may fade. The disc may warp. The only value in a sealed game is that you know everything is there such as registration cards, leaflets etc when you do open it. A game that isn't played is no longer a game. Open them, damn you!
I said it many times but there are many collectors who are sitting on discs covered in mold yet they seem to think they're mint because they are sealed. Many a time I've opened factory sealed Saturn games only to find mold of the disc. It does clean off but that is now. In another 10 years it may not.
Oh my... no way... that's just insanity. I am not and never will be into sealed collecting. I'd rather see what's on the inside, enjoy the artwork. Also being able to play the games is nice! It's just a super-fragile piece of plastic....
When i want a game i usually try to find the cheapest loose cart i can find. Usually its dirty and cosmetically damaged but as long as it work. Im a bit more demanding for cds but will buy resurfaced games if they are cheaper. My Mario Bros 3 cart has been chewed by a dog but it still works fine lol. Collecting sealed games is pointless to me, i want to play them
Sealed collecting is the most stupid thing in the world, (please dont get offended) because what if the game come factory damage and you pay a ridiculous price for it just to know you have a game that does not work. Sealed collecting is for figures, toys, cards etc. Not for electronics.
A sealed game is worthless to me, as others pointed out it might be defective. Imagine finally opening a rare sealed game 10-20 years from now and it is defective, then trying to get a replacement.
