I'll rather have japanese/non-english spoken games with subs, since most of the dubs suck ass.

You should tell that to michael moore...

Word, even south americans and central americans sound different.

Like between the irish and the scots

Localization is a pain in the ass. We Swedes mostly get the English (American) version anyhow, so we should be able to get the game immediately once it's released in America. But we have to wait because of the Germans, French, and Italians who can't understand English.

Actually that's a good idea, releasing the game immediately in countries where they accept the English language. That should put some pressure on the other countries.

Granted, we have to wait for the game to be categorized into age groups, but still.

Always amazes me when people still put up with this shit & buy domestic stuff.

I gave up around the time of the snes, moved to japanese imports & never looked back.

Something about uk games just makes them feel so cheap in quality (mainly talking about nintendo can't really say for other formats), ironic really when they cost more than imports do.

Take the famicom mini gba series in japan, perfect replicas of the boxes housed in tiny little plastic boxes made the series feel very special & retailed for £10 now take the nes classics, no wonderful packaging, big huge ugly generic gba box no effort made at all looks like it was knocked up on photoshop. Manual b&w no effort made & they had the cheek to charge £15. & before all the defenders jump in saying oh but it costs more to make stuff over here & oh the taxes are higher.

Umm err tough shit i don't care, if they made an effort & produced something high quality they i may not have minded the price hike as much.
