Bless you sir. This game was all of high school for me. I remember being in the Socom 2 beta. Fish Hook with MGLs was joke. I'm glad they fixed that on the final version.

I used to be able to do the M16 rapid fire due to me using those odd controls.

I miss the time with my friends I used to have.

 

Glad to contribute. These were items I've been trying to find copies for a while now because betas and demos tend to have information in memory labeled really well compared to the retail release and either people what an obscene amount of money or no one seems to have them. I found some people who would sell me copies pretty cheap ( some of these was basically just paying shipping) so I decided to share them since I know there are others looking for them.



Sadly the only one I haven't been able to get ahold of was the S3 beta.

 

Aww, I still have my Socom II Beta and the booklet that came with it as well. I honestly would just want an HD remaster haha.

 

1UP, can you make a correct [Demo] Socom 2 [NTSC] dump, please? Just make an image without rebuilding in ultraiso.

 

That's not a rebuild. That's the program I used to make the ISO from the disk.

 

Hmm... Bad choice. This demo has different md5 - http://redump.org/disc/45093/. UltraISO creates (actually, saves) another image. IDK is there an option to make an image from disc in this program (exactly make, not save). You made the image from original CD but the image itself isn't a copy of it, it's a bad dump. Can you use other program? ImgBurn, for example (it's free). It has this option. I can't recommend other software because don't try it.

 

Shortly after I made this thread I gave the disk to a friend so that's not possible. The image worked both on the ps2 and the emulator so I didn't think anything of it since it works.
