Can anyone recommend a good third-party software that can specifically view video from an existing video capture device?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

uiVCR is pretty good. In my experience though, very few cards offer lag-free viewing.

DScaler should be the best if you can get it to work, if you use MediaPlayerClassic it should work as well (File->Open Device).

Virtualdub works but the preview isnt that great :\

Yeah I tried DScaler, but the quality wasn't all that great. Other applications such as uiVCR and AMCap refused to work for me. I'm using a Pinnacle 700-USB capture device. :-/
