I have two Psy-Q development Saturn consoles for sale.
These are the set - yes there are two consoles in this set and both work with retail JPN disc - I bought quite some time ago to build my Psy-Q rig but never quite get around to it... and then I got another Dev Saturn so they were sitting at the storage building with rest of my stuff.

no these are set of Psy-Q Saturn Development system they made back in early days of Saturn. There are other units that makes up the complete set up but I never get around to hunt down those...

no they don't run CD-R backup and AFAIK no DevSaturn run CD-R backup as they use Mirage Virtual CD unit to emulate the disc...

    cheers

  5. I weep when I hear someone interested in a dev unit not for hacking around with or attempting to program or even collecting, but merely because they want to play pirated games... :smt022

    Mod mod mod mod...

You know, mod chips really arn't hard to come by for Saturns... check the Saturn forum at SX and you'll find the links to get a modchip for whatever model you want. Don't think have to buy such an interesting piece of hardware to do something as mundane as play "back-ups"...

You can get one from universalvideogames.com - a modded Saturn, that is.

I don't remember it being that easy when I was looking for a chip for the 20 pin models... nowadays I dont care that much anymore, I prefer to have the originals ;-)
