My current roll of solder is about to be used up and I'm thinking about using unleaded solder this time. I've been using 60/40 leaded solder, and I've been wondering if I should stop using what I have left and save it for other projects. All I do these days is deal with retro consoles or fightstick PCBs. Is there a reason why I should stick to leaded over the "safer" unleaded?
Unleaded solder is a terrible thing, stick to the tried and true formula. It's not even expensive, I've used the same roll for close to 4 years now. Just buy in bulk.
