Soldier of Fortune 2 Double Helix PC Beta

Here's a beta of SOF2. Nothing rare, really. Just thought I'd share
This beta was published by a russian bootleg company called Fargus.
This was standard practice in Russia, back in the days, beta versions were bootlegged and sold for all platforms (psx, ps2, dreamcast, pc, etc)
As you can see, the bootleg cover art mentions "2in1" which means that you can choose Russian/English during setup.
Obviously this is not a "clean" dump, since the pirates translated and actually published it.

Spoiler: About Fargus

Fargus was famous for making high quality Russian localizations and generally reliable releases.
Sometime in 2005 they actually tried to sue an official, licensed, Russian localization company and ended up losing and went bankrupt.

NoCD patch:
1 Mount CD1
2 Run game once, before applying the NoCD patch
3 Follow below instructions to enable violence/gore
4 Exit the game after enabling violence
5 Now, and only now, apply the NoCD patch

Violence / gore is disabled by default.
How to enable:
1 Run multiplayer (SoF2MP.exe)
2 Press shift + tilde (console key) and type: menu lock
/ or simply click the lock icon (see screenshot below)
3 When prompted for password press enter, without typing a password
4 Enable whatever you want
5 Set prefered password / leave it empty
6 Run SOF2.exe
7 Profit
