[solved] Problem with an SG-1000

    Well may be broken traces if you look at the photo of the board near the fingerboard at the right over the heavy ground trace there is some kind of scratch that I don't know how I didn't see it. I'll check it with the magnifier and patch it to see if it works.

    Well I patched the trace that where scratched but nothing it either gives black screen, pink or gray screen and sometimes a garbled screen. But no sound at all only buzzing, all of this connected to the tv from the chips not RF. Forgot that sometimes it loose the signal and the video is gone.

    Its alive again found the problem. Micro fractures on the board god dammit. The pictures is horrible as always with the RF but now will come component mod.
    I don't know how it get it but I will think it was because of how old it is.

    So finally got around to working on these. The troublemaker needed the cartridge pins reflowed. After that it works fine. (now I just need to fix the controller)

    I mod the controller like the luke morse do with tactile buttons and it works great if you don't mind the ticking sound
