    Do they sell fried eel rolls or salmon skin in Japan? I love those. I'm sure they are not very authentic though.

    Maybe in your whack country. Go to a locale with good fish (Hawaii, Cali, etc) and that's open to Asian influence and you can get stuff comparable to Japan (at a certain price point). Even the cheap stuff in Hawaii is pretty good.

    The Deli in the Park Hyatt in Shinjuku has a mean Avocado/Salmon roll. Kind of big though.
