    Man and the Earth

both are done on wood, treated and prepared by myself. Painting done by oil-paints and a brush

feel free to say whatever comes to your mind lads

if anyone wants to show them elsewhere, please PM me!

PS: sorry for the crappy quality, not exactly gallery conditions around the house..

that's a much bigger project that is pending mainly because it's Easter here in Greece at the moment and I need someone to seal the glass etc. Not something I can do at home alone =P It's in development though I assure you ;)

Not feeling the bottom one, too colourful for myself.

The top one however is excellent. Is this just a hobby mate?

thinking the same. i guess the second one would have worked better if you had used a darker/fewer color theme

Thanks for the comments - i m not a master of colouring actually, and the second piece just "occured" because I had spillled turpentine on the wood and was using it as a pallette during the first piece - didn't want it to go to waste!

Yes, this is a sort of hobby, but hopefully thanks to some interested parties that have arisen it may turn into one of my occupations:love:

The red cloudy areas in the first one, is that oil paints? How did you get it to have such a precise edge on it? It almost looks like something (forgive me for saying this) cut and pasted on there.

The second pic isn't showing anymore actually.

I like it, it is not bad at all. Maybe I should photograph my fathers whale pictures. That he has painted, since they are beautiful.

Yes, the red filling was a placehold until the oil was a bit drier.

Thank you for your kind comment.

Yes, these are all for sale , right up there with my soul. It has been valued by an art-selling shop for a nice price and it stands 77cm tall.

out of curiosity, how much do you think it's worth?

I would pay 600 dollars for it (if i had the money =P).

I don't know what it is, but there's something in that painting that makes want to look at it for a long time.

you're pretty accurate at the pricing - 600-700 Euros is what I was told around here as well.

Expressionism? I don't like the last one.
Kitsch colors, conservative figures. First one looks
like a picture Franz Kafka has made, but his was in B/W.

Looks a bit like (invisible link): http://youtube.com/watch?v=2Z1rZ80qOPM
