If Nintendo includes Wi-Fi, an HD, and that other stuff mentioned in the "leak," I am buying one on launch day.

 

this has me interested too. I've been late to get on the nintendo boat, since I just got my Gamecube. I was in between xbox and ps2 down times, so i thought I'd try the "other one" out. Nintendo does need to innovate since many think of them as "that kiddie corporation"

hdd would be nice, but all these features are expensive and are exactly the kind of thing Nintendo left out from Gamecube in order to make it cheap to produce and profitable from the outset. I'd be surprised to see Nintendo make a complete about turn and suddenly start bundling everything in - they'd never be able to compete with Microsoft's capacity for losing cash on hardware. It would make more business sense to make another Gamecube: a barebones machine without frills that can be sold at a profit for less than the competition. Throw in some "Revolution" in the controller/flashy shit on the console itself and call it a day.
