OK, only the showcase, because the other stuff wasn't really worth to mention anyway.

    Showcase:

    Akiyama (again, lol):

    Waltz (Sekisui haimu catalog):

It seems that every potato has one sealed waltz for 100'000 in the showcase..lol

Yep, and like the other shops they've been at the crack pipe while pricing up the games.

Also looks like their showcase get less and less interesting over the years.
Akimayin, darius alpha, waltz and... that's all ?

5229 Yen isn't a bad price for Saturn Dungeons & Dragons Collection, though.

Notice the sunfaded copy nextto it is over 8000 yen? I never can understand the pricing system Japanese store use. In Manga Soko they have boxed and loose versions f the Same Mega Drive game selling for the same price!

This is not the same version Yak. Have a close lookey again ;)

But I know what you mean. I've bought myself a Saturn Shienryuu in a tripple-A condition in medialand this weekend. It costed me 1990 yens. Next to that was a A-B-A condition Shienryuu for 2990yens.

Yeah, I figured it was the version with the RAM cart, although that's still too much for a terribly sunfaded copy.

    Meh, SP is over-rated, imo.

Nobody is forced to buy at them. Still it's one of the biggest retro sources in the world (amount vs. space ratio). I only buy stuff when it is really cheap, or profit from their bargains. I'm OK with that.

I think the Mandarake shops were better, especially with condition of stuff.

Maybe it is a psychological trick, to trick people into buying the already overprized boxed version over the totally overprized loose one, thinking they landed a bargain

Super Potato has a pretty great selection, but can be way overpriced.

The head branch of Manga Soko is only 5 minutes from where I am right now. They have a very impressive glass case but like Super potato they pull the prices right out of their arse. Who in their right mind would pay 16'0000 yen for a used copy of RSG without a spine card? Or how about a sunfaded copy of Sapphire for a whopping forty odd thousand yen?

Agree. I also enjoy just walking around the shop itself.

Most of Super Potato items are overpriced because of the sudden notority they got since the first pics of the shop has been posted but sometimes you can find good deal (got brand new Eldorado Gate boxset for 6000 yens some weeks ago)

I definitly prefere Mandarake for their prices and their expertise on some items who are subjects to forgeries but if someone feels interested i have updated pics of Akiba's Super Potatoe here
