"we could be on the brink of a step change in what games consoles are capable of in terms of story-telling and immersion"

I hope this is true, as I'd rather see some little step in this direction than another huge one only on the graphics side.

    hype  as usual...

UT3 superior (online) to Halo 3 :eek:h: I always found UT a big boring...played the demo still not fussed...

Gimme more GoW and Crysis but UT

I truly hope they put some AI in the next Resistance Fall Of Men, 1st one most boring game ever... and make Motorstorm 2 a bit faster than 1 so I don't fall asleep. :110:

Yeah PS3 bounces back but when you hit the bottom, the only way is up, now, how high can it go, that's the real question...

And the hype machine rumbles on.

It's more than likely that what he was shown was not very interesting or innovative, but in the case of a juicy story he'll hype it up. Probably Killzone 2 - again.

Maybe it'll still be pre-rendered, hope they don't forget to touch up the screenshot as well...

I think the guy in the article comes across as something of a fanboy, but he certainly hypes this mystery game.

Halo 3 is not as good as UT3 online, unless you are talking Coop. Not even close!

Sadly, it seems that most press think better graphics automatically equals better immersion and storytelling. Sure, good graphics help in some cases, but it takes more than just a pretty picture to make a game better.

Really depends, since both of them play totally different. They both rock. UT3 is always fun to fire up and blast people on. I love the fake death button!

How is UT PS3 vs. PC though?

The PC version will look better if you have the hardware, and the PS3 version is a little slower to accommodate the joypad users. But aside from that identical (even mods work). You can also use keyboard and mouse.
