One day (when the collection have grown bigger) I will make a "real" Treasure web/fan page with archive, scans etc. etc. But for now this will be enough. I start with my Treasure stuff. I am more of a gamer than a "real" collector (but I love the collecting world, but always have to sell games to get money for new ones. But Treasure is a real collection passion (and I love to play most of the games as well). I always hunt for more Treasure stuff, but I still miss a lot of both official released games and (for me, please give me tips for more) known merchandise etc. The "problem" is, of course, mainly the money (and to find some of it...at all). But I am not in a hurry, and when this pictures are taken I actually wait for almost ten new "objects". Will update after christmas or something. After the Treasure pictures follow some other parts of my "collection". Not all (for instance Cave merch, a lot of posters, bigger DC-controllers, almost all hardware, the PC-games etc is missing), but most of it. Will take more pictures some day. Just let me know if someone want to see something closer. Some other stuff The content on the two pictures below means a lot for me. "Survivors" from my own childhood (thanks mam, you didn´t throw them away. Think I have some more Atari 2600-carts somewhere as well, will dig for them next time I visit her. The Mickey Mouse Game & Watch was my first own game, I kept Spelunker to C-64 when I sold the computer back in the 80:ies (since I was determined to buy I new C-64 some day and beat the game) and Colecovision was king (some of the carts I have actueally bought later...). The swedish magazines are from 1984-86, remember how I red the Joysticks everyday. Will take scans later (when I get a real home page). A photo from my job, quite old, have more than 100 more game magazines today. Love old mags! One more "survivor" (and the only picture here that have nothing to do with games). But since I just "frame" it and are very happy with the content, I include it as well. Maybe a little macabre, but the autograph down to the right on the record is one of the last Cliff Burton wrote (and the ticket below that, to the left, is from his last consert at all, here in Sweden (Stockholm) 1986. Also found that one in my mams cellar together with a lot of other old metal stuff, pure nostalgia.
Thanks, both. fun you enjoyed it;-) . madhatter; Yea, you are presumably right (even if the Bangai-O in the middle and Taromarou complete with sticker are quite valued as well. Even if there are a lot (? )of Burton-autographs out there, the “last” ticket must be really rare. Don´t really understand I save it, but it is far from mint (Coca Cola spot. R.I.P. la-li-lu-le-lo: Sure, I can take some pics some day. But don´t expect too much. Not so big collection (will maybe be my next “field”, but I will never have enough money for the arcade kits) and not so rare stuff. Some flyers, two telephone cards, some OST:s, some figures, some posters (PS2 and Ibara arcade), an art book, one “manga”, the “common” games on Saturn and PS2 and maybe something more. I suppose you have seen Gajin Punchs great arcade kit collection: http://assemblergames.com/forums/showthread.php?t=10399
That's some Treasure collection you got there as well as some other pretty cool titles. thanks for sharing ! Yakumo PS: Maybe you shouldn't write in yellow because it doesn't show up on the white BG board settings. Yakumo
Yakumo; thanks. I didn´t realize earlier that one could change skin (I though the boards design changed for a month ago when it became black.... Kami68k; yes, I am very glad for that one (not least since it feels so "odd", have watch for it a long time. Actually the last part of the Treasure collection I get home. Find it on Ebay for just 50 "buy it now" (start bid 10) so I bough it at once . Don´t know the "real" value at all, but I am happy with it so it doesn´t matter if it was "too" expencive (if it was...).
You have a fantastic Treasure collection of games and merchandise!. I love specific collections. The Ikaruga T-shirts are that were sold in the shmups.com forum?
Nice , I like all the merchandise stuff. Great collection of magazines too. PS looks like to should flip your shelves round inside the cabinet as you have the unfinished side showing
Fatalist; yes, thats right, it´s Pixelcorps shirts Crissybwoy; thanks, just wish I had more merch. Hard to find. Would love to find some flyers like this for instance: http://www.gamengai.com/bn_inf.php?type=chirashi&id=1101 http://www.gamengai.com/bn_inf.php?type=chirashi&id=397 http://www.gamengai.com/bn_inf.php?type=chirashi&id=404 http://www.gamengai.com/bn_inf.php?type=chirashi&id=472 Wheelaa; Funny that just you mentioned it, since it was thanks to you I get knowledge about the Gunstar demo cart (down to the right on the GH-picture). And yesterday I actually won a boxed (and also the D Headdy-demo). Just must figure out how to get the money;-).
Thanks for the advice, but I have tried - and he (understandibly) holds very hard in his flyers. But maybe enough money (later, broke for the moment) will convince him about the right thing to do with them...;-)
Hello. Awesome collection! Really it's great! I need some extra infomrmations about radiant silvergun "art book". I can see 3 of them on your picture. I want to know the difference between the two official book. And if it's possible I would ike to know the average prices for them. Can you give me more info about the non-official one? About OST, I can see that you have one of the two "radiant silvergun single". Did you plan to get the second one? I think that one is far more expensive than the other one...OH: Do you want to get the two different superplay (the Gamest one and the unofficial T3-WIZ one?) You don't have the radiant silvergun military plate? About Ikaruga can you give me your feeling about the unofficial comics? The style is great? Where did you get them? On yahoo auctions japan? Again bery great collection, sorry for all those questions. Hope you can help me with some answers. See you
Regarding WarioWorld by Treasure, i thought it was an AWESOME game. Very fun, and very nostalgic gameplay. Reminded me alot of 2D gameboy platformers (not the wario series specifically though)
Raziel73; don´t feel sorry, just fun with questions. Don´t hesitage to ask more if I don´t answer so good! First the books; only one of them is an art book. The one to the right. The other three are strategy guids. No Refuge and Be Prying "fan made", and the one next to Hans art book the official. I can take some pictures so you get a feeling of all the stuff. I also waiting for this one (hope it comes next week, think it´s "just" a guide as well): http://www.pici.se/?14356 The two fan made guids are also availible on a CD (with colour pictures instead. Also think there is a superplay on that one. I actually miss one on Yahoo just some weeks ago (my last bid was 11000 Yen, and I get the feeling the one who won it could bid much higher and I am not rich so.... I pay 10500 Yen for the two fan made guids, both in one auction. A "No praying" in mint (and according to the description with a disc) have been up on Ebay over a year (now for 160 USD, suppose that´s to high price as well - even if they are rare as hell). Thanks for the info about the single! Just knew there where one, so that was new info. What´s the difference? I want both VHS-superplays (actually have seen three, plus a commercial video of some kind). But everytime (not so often...) I see them I have not enough money to bid (I use Shopping Mall Japan, so I have a limited money to bid for, think I must hight that one soon.... The military plate would be so cool. Same history there. Saw one on Yahoo last summer (enden on 5-6000 Yen I think), but couldn´t bid enough for it. Think I bid 4000, but it seems there are a lot Japanese RS-fans - always hard to win the RS-stuff. The Ikaruga comics are so great I can´t descripe them in words. And yes, I found them on Yahoo (one of them on Ebay first, but I sold that one for just a month ago when I had the new one). Will show you some pictures instead (tonight...).
Barc0de; I agree there, great game! My doughter loves it too so we plays it together quite often so it special to me also from that perspective (but now we gonna play Zelda TP some weeks). Give her this doll last summer, she is very found of Wario in general: http://pici.se/pictures/NcfaBa.jpg Mario may be a better friend, but Wario are funnier;-).
Ok, here we go with some pics: No Refuge: Be Prying: The official guide: Hans RS-art book Some Cant´tHUE art stuff (the Ikaruga mangas):
Hell ! That's a really sexy collection. I love the way you displayed all your treasure stuff, looks great !
Hello, thank you so much for answers. I'm a bit surprised. There is 2 unofficial strategy guide!!! Whow! I was thinking about art-book or something like that...but fan-made guide book, first time I can see this Do you have the floppy disk coming with the Be Praying guide? What's inside? I have only the official strategy guide, I can't compare...can you say which guide is the best? I have some more informations about OST. First, the official soundtrack "Radiant Silvergun Soudtrack+" exists in 2 different versions. The first one came in 1998 and the second one came in 2004. There is a little change on the booklet. About "singles" yes, there are 2 different single. Here is a little very bad quality photo with both singles and a letter from "ESP-Treasure" to say "You are a winner" !!! 42000 yens, a bit expensive... For information purpose, this is Nakano Mandarake. If you are interested in here are 2 photos about non official superplay by T3-WIZ Thanks for great pictures aout Ikaruga comics. Seem to be very high quality work !!! And I will wait for more informations about the new radiant silvergun guide you will receive soon! See you
