You guys ever try playing Steel Battalion? Will it work with or without mods? I know it depends on how the code was written. LOC will run 720p and I was curious if it would run properly. I really want one of the upgraded boards and it would be even sweeter if I could use it to play LOC online.

It should. It would certainly need patching. Tell you what! Ship me a controller and I will try it for you. The 720p mode should work just fine on a stock Xbox anyway... do you own a controller and a cop of the game?
Hope this isn't hijacking the thread too much but could anyone comment on playing emulators such as ps1 or n64? Would GoldenEye and Mario party be playable on a 1.4ghz (ive found it quite laggy on a stock CPU)?
I do own a controller and a copy of the game . I just dont have an overlclocked xbox and its about the only game I still play. People regularly meet up online to have matches now with xlink kai.
I doubt you'll have a problem. The xbe needs to be patched for your CPU speed most likely, and you will be all set. So, LOD, the "online only" one does in fact allow system link? This is intriguing and makes the controller much more of a compelling purchase...
