    Heh, very amusing! Not something you would expect from Sony, but I have a bunch of games that would never be released outside Japan with issues.

    Such as -
    Strat = Start
    Lord = Load

    Anyway it really is very hard for native Japanese speakers, I have a good friend at Oxford who has lived in England since he was 12 who still makes mistakes with L and R. He tried to spell Margaret, Margallet recently.

    Oh well, I'm just glad my Kanji is not so ruthlessly mocked!

    The soft sods ! How on earth could they get SELECT wrong? The excuse of L & R problems is pitiful since controllers have had the word select on them for years. saying that though, big companies always make dumb mistakes like that in English. You'd think with the amount of money they have they would just hire some native speaker for a few 1000 yen to check stuff or better still use a spell checker :lol:
