I just seen KOF '96 for the (Super) GameBoy, never seen it before, would pick it up if it wasn't so expensive (£15).

  7. So could someone fill me in - what's this KOF '94 Rebout thing anyways? Is it a straight port, or some sort of remake? What system is it for? (If these questions are answered in that link, I apologize, as it won't show for me).

a remake of the kof '94 game, with high- resolution character and 3d backround. don't know if any charcter where added or something. its a ps2 game (and i don't think it would be one if all backround weren't in 3d. :smt043 ) look really cool. but its only me or all the special effects look shitty and pixelised? anyway , that's good to hear that snk still do 2d games. :)

The entire game looks shitty. They are using too high of a resolution for such small albeit rendered character sprites, which have absolutely no class. All the character art is retarded too. Also, is this even made by SNK? I thought SNK was literally dead, it must be Playmore's work. It's apparent. Seriously though, this POS looks worse than the original KOF94 (and Street Fighter EX while we're at it.) Theres nothing worse than disgracing a tried and true series with crap spinoffs. What they should do is stop being stupid and release a damn NEW game!

Ah, Ilove a bit of spring cleaning, or should that be "Autumn" cleaning :smt043

I second what Kyuusaku said. We don't need some crappy spin offs tanishing the orginal good name. Still, it will probably play well to the none KOF fan.

I give them credit for bothering to make the sprites high resoloution, too bad capcom didnt put that effort into their later fighting games.

It looks good in the videos, the still shots make it look terrible. I thought that at first but seeing it move is a different story.

It has lost the art & soul of KOF'94, but seeing as that game is a fine example of gaming & art combined, it' was always gonna be difficult to "remake" it.

I'm sure this trend of rereleases will be over ewithin 2 years, for the mean time Playmore is paying homage to SNK's past so it can then move forward.

I've played the kof94 remake today, man what a big pile of shite, it looks good but it just plays crap especially with the standard ps2 pad, you really need a 2 pad like the streetfighter 2 pads that are on sale now to play it descently.
