hello again, thanks to everybody's help in fixing the disk drive belt. The good news is that its works fine. (no more screeching sounds) bad news is that after the "Family Computer" copyright screen fades, the game stops loading (this is the same for all of my games) A lot of other people have no idea what can be wrong with it this time, but one suggested alignment? (what kind) Another said that by trying my games again and again, it can destroy them. Is this true? Any ideas to what the problem can be? Here is what I know -after fixing the belt, re-screwed everything/connected properly -the disk system reads the games, no more grinding noise (instead makes a humming noise that reminds me of a VCR reading a cassette) -it loads to the Family Computer Copyright screen, but doesnt load to the game screen. -also (I dont know if its normal) the red light on the disk system glows red when reading the disk, but stops after the FC copyright screen Please help me or I'll gonna throw this thing in the garbage!
