I bought Sonic Adventure... NTSC / jap.
We disscussed in another Forum what kind of edition it is.(we came to no result... or... yes ok we had a result... the result was... ask @assenblergames-forum *g*) It is a sealed Version without Booklet a.s.o.
    Picture are here: http://rapidshare.com/files/22927888/WhitelabelSonic.rar.html

    legend:
    Picture 0073: Close View Sonic
    Picture 0068: Front Sonic/SegaRally2
    Picture 0066: View from up.
Picture 0065: Front and back (back is from SegaRally2 same disc like Sonic)

The Seller told me it is like a whitelable... Also testversion/promo... but there is no "Promo" tag or so!

    HDR-0001 670-13772 (also normal HDR)
Some1 know the answer? Bulkedition or so?

The disc looks just like my retail Sonic Adventure Japanese. I have no idea about re-sealing games, but if I were you, I'd just open it & pop it in a Dreamcast to see if there are any major differences.

Did you ask at the Sonic-Cult forums?

Looks like someone took a retail Sonic and re-shrinked it. One important clue, does the plastic inset have a "CD" logo on it?

@Mark mh... I know it looks like the retail... :/ I don´t wanne open it... than it´s no more sealed :D... and major differences... I have no other Sonic version (don´t like him ;/) And no, I didn´t asked @Sonic-Cult forums

@hl I don´t know why he should re-sealed it... he had much much more Whitelabels (Pal) which I bought from him... and they were really cheep... re-sealed would cost more than he wanted for the Games
    "GD Rom" logo... no CD!

I don't know, but you might have been deceived (unless you are able to actually verify it is not just a regular NTSC-J Sonic Adventure). FYI, the part number for the Sonic Adventure White Label is: 950-0009-50.

It looks the plastic cellophane wrapper have a tear strip on it and thats the normal standard for the Japanese DC "NOT FOR SALE" store front demo GD's but they are normally adorned with 非売品 and the product codes are 610-xxxx

I've got a couple of different variations of the Japanese Sonic Adventure demo but I haven't seen one without somekind of front or rear insert.

No I think you're confused with the 'leaked' alpha\preview build, the one that has 3 playable levels.

Yep E3 Demo has never been dumped I got one 3 years ago, it's a nice little disc to play with small differences on the levels playable. Mine was sealed as well and it has sample in japanese written on the disc "sampuru" :)

I wasn't aware that one was dumped...need to find it now...any major differences compared to retail?

I once saw this thread and I think that now is time to use it.
As the photos link is not working anymore, I will upload a photo of a Sega Rally 2 sealed disc with no instructions nor inserts that doesn't say sample or not for resale. I think it can be the E3 version? a shop demo disc?

    Here it is:

And here a close up to the info:

    Thanks for looking ave.

I thought it would be retail but why is it sealed with no inserts?

    The seal seems legit.

Just noticed that your disc has "sample" written on it with black katakana near the center. Still everything else is 100% like the retail version.

I've seen sample games for DC which were sealed without a spine-card but they still had their insert and manual.

Ahhh it's a sample. Alright. One more to my demo/trial collection. I will keep it sealed.

So it says sample in the inner circle, right?

    Thank you very much!
