Sonic CD beta -cancelled levels

As far as I know no one has this. At least not anyone that would publicly share that they do i.e drx. It's too obvious but I'll say it anyways: one way or another I hope you intend to somehow get this out to the public

 

Is it dated 1993 april, or even earlier?

The earliest prototype we have dates to 1993 may, and is a magazine demo, that only plays the first level by default, but you can use a level select code to reach all the other levels from the game. All of which work more or less.

Yep, those are the three that can be found on the net. Next to a proto that has axed levels though, those are nothing

Sounds too good to be true but how can we be sure these aren't just fan made hacks?

 

I don't think Sonic CD hacking has been achieved yet, or at least certainly not to a level where there's lots of tools for the public to get their hands on. And assuming Assembler knows his contacts, I can't imagine him falling for a fake.

I hope this crashing of the levels can be averted through some sort of hacking though. Maybe that Mode 7-ish special stage that was seen in that one japanese catalogue preview is still in it.

 

I predict that Sonic Retro's Geheime Staatspolizei will attack this claim within 72 hours of ASSEMbler's post.
