OK, who here is excited for Sonic Generations? I can't believe I am, but I am. In fact, it'll probably be the game I get a 3DS back for. Perhaps the senility of old age is setting in... after all, I have reached my mid-30's. :cur_sonic:
I am so excited for it!!! I've not been this excited for a game launch for as long as I can remember. Also I'm not even 20 so I can't use the senility of age excuse. Perhaps naievety of the young for me?
Not really excited, but I did like the demo, it was the best new Sonic game I'd played in a looooooong time.
Really enjoyed the demo on the xbox 360, still holding back a bit..there is still plenty of time for them to fuck it up par for the course for all current gen sonic games. But here is hoping they don't
Tails was good IMO. Especially in Sonic 2,3 and Knuckles. My brother always made me be tails which sucked ass because he always went off screen and you had to wait for him but it was fun.
Yeah my Cousin always made me be Tails too. I hope with Sonic Generations they keep it at JUST Tails becasue the next part of the cycle is Pictures of MORE/NEW Friends
First Sonic game in years I'm actually looking forward to mainly for the classic levels. Come on Sega don't mess this one up!
Shit, can't find that comic, anyways If you liked colors you are going to like this game, it basically the same. The 2.5D parts are back-to-basics, no problem there, but I don't know why sega keeps the 3D sonic-on-a-rail scripted crap from 2006/unleashed. It would be better if they went the same way nintendo did with mario: release classic tittles with a twist (yoshi's story, NSMB) and "experimental" 3D titles (SM64, sunshine, galaxy) separately The sonic levels in Adventure 2 were great, why is colors/generations using the sonic 2006/unleashed levels in the 3D parts? no idea.
How is Paper Mario "a classic Mario title with a twist"? It's about as far from a classic Mario game as you can get.
That's too cool (especially since I was the only person who liked SA2)..except for the part with Shadow, since he just plain sucks.
Oh man! I was so excited I downloaded the iphone/ipod "hub" app that promotes it and what do you know? There's this little simple gem called Sonic The Sketchhog inside it. You MUST try it. So simple and fun
There still seem to be a lot of parts where you relinquish control, hopefully this is just in the trailers and will be addressed in the final release.
