Guys,did you know that actually there is a demo animation from the unreleased Sonic Mars game? (or from the Sonic Xtreme 32x version ) LINK TO THE VIDEO: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wHLqSAoE0bk It was a demo made from an Amiga (early 90's computer) to demonstrate how it was gonna be the game. Anybody else have more information of the game? (just to say FTW)
Unfortunately, the best site for this content (The Sonic Xtreme Compendium) has been having difficulties over the past year and as such much of the content is missing, but the site had a lot of artwork, drawings, story pieces, etc. which tried to explain more of the behind-the-scenes nature. If you want more info, I'd recommend checking out the Senntient Sonic Xtreme forums. It's run by one of the developers who worked on Sonic Xtreme, and whilst there are no plans to release betas of the game, it still has a lot of great stuff (including a level editor and levels from the last version of the game before it was cancelled). http://www.senntient.com/forums/viewforum.php?id=21
