    .

yes it's one of Neogeoman's unit.
I'd love to keep it but wife said NO. Either I get rid of it or she will give it out for free - and she will.

I'm about to rid of all my saturn except Psy-Q development unit. there will be eBay auction for Skeleton, V-saturn, Hi-Saturn, and grey/white saturns. :(

oh well...at least she doesn't mind my ever increasing game titles... :)

    cheers

Never seen a sonic saturn, almost looks selfmade ;-)
Why is the cover more white than the whole console?
Just something for hardcore sonic collectors I guess.

What was the reserve if you don't mind my asking?

Also -- all those white consoles turning yellow in Japan. It's called smoke. :)

No, its not smoke. Its UV. It happened to a lot of SNES machines in the UK. In non-smoking households even.

I'm talking about the Japanese machines though. If something in Japan is yellow, chances are it's smoke. I guess they smoke a lot in the UK though come to think of it, eh?

Yup, lotsa smoking going on here! But you'll find that often cigarette stains can be cleaned, whereas UV from the sun can't - it has reacted with the plastic.

    .

anyhow since it didn't meet the reserve I'll be able to keep.
no how do I keep my wife's hand off my Skeleton saturn....

    .....

for the poster who thought this was selfmade if I have that kind of skill I wouldn't be sitting at the office all day, huh? also if I did why stop at the Sonic Logo... lettering and maybe Knukle logo as well... :p

yes it's yellowish white probably due to UV. Still it's whiter than my normal white saturn. That one's almost lemon in colour now - lemon saturn. hmm...

    cheers

    .

This little tidbit is what I was told and have no way to verify myself so don't take my word for it.

Sonic Saturn was apparently sold exclusively by Toys R Us in Japan.
As the production number was very limited - don't have the figure - this is as rare as Hitachi Hi-Navi if not more.

Looks like from rarest to least rare as far as Saturn is concerned the below three are the jewel of Saturn console? (I'm only missing Hi-Navi but no way I'm gonna pay 2-3K for it. )

    Sonic saturn/Hi-Navi
    Derby Skeleton
    This is Cool Skeleton

Then the rest which aren't that rare - V-Saturn, Hi-Saturn, white and grey Saturn are all fairly common.

anyone with more accurate information feel free to correct me. :)
    cheers
