I wanted to buy this direct from sega but I cant find a place to get Sega Rocks from, info here:
    http://www.wave-master.com/segarock/
As for Sonic Team Unplugged the only thing that shows up properly here is the images. All the text shows up as little squares. I have seen this mac do Japanese before... but I dont know why its doing this. Opera shows in correct kanji/kana for the page as well, are there any alternatives or a way to fix the japanese on this? I am on OS 8.6.

edit: forgot to mention that if I can get ahold of these discs, I will make some VERY nice HQ OGG rips of it (I usually do 500kbps rips) and do scans (yes spine cards too for all you obsessants XD). I wont brand them either, though in the archive ill typically include a text file with translations of track names and such.

awesome! that they do AND the text isnt in some encoding that make these machiens flip out! Thanks so mcuh! As soon as I get them I promie High Quality rips for all, though Ill prolly need some server space to upload it (I do scans too :p) as my current hosts cant handle things of the size and demand this would probably generate. Ill post an update when I receive the discs.

Why do you want to pirate it? Let anyone who wants it to buy it themselves and support Sonic Team and SEGA. Goodness knows they need it.

Then buy it, man. Shit, I couldn't give a damn about run off the mill artists, but SEGA and Sonic Team need support right now badly. You want the album, buy it, it's damn cheap as game OSTs go.

On top of that there's the basic fact that piracy is illegal and hosting illegal MP3s could get you in hot water.

    ...

It's too late to save Sega so buying a OST for that purpose would be absolutely pointless.

I seriously doubt the RIAA would sue him for ripping Sega sountracks either :smt043

    Re: ...

especially since RIAA is limited to america... at least I think it is. Perhaps ill leave sonic team unplugged as is, just because Sonic team still sort of exists. If enough people want it, Ill rip it I guess, however alot of people have never heard of the Sega Rock CDs, besides, if people truely think the music is good they will go out and buy it but theres currently no way to preview what your buying. On a final note, I ordered discs last night from sega direct. My friend Nik was kind enough to let me use his wonderful windows machine which could display japanese in a readable manner :p. I'll update everyone when they arrive, for now I'll start a new poll on what you would liek ripped first :p.
