I already lost faith in the Sonic series with Sonic Adventure 2. All these involved story lines and crap just have come and gone too many times now. Of course sonic communities just complain anyway, which I'm sure we'll see some of here. I just wonder why anybody still cares at all when they've been dissapointed long enough. Guess they never learn Incase it's not obvious, my point is I don't care :0
Sonic Adventure 1 was the last good Sonic game if you ask me. Sonic Adventure 2 was ok but the F*ing music really got on my tits and having to control that fat stupid blue cat wasn't my idea of fun. Yakumo

They really are running out of ideas... first Dark, Goth Sonic with a gun, now Sonic with a sword. They should really just let it go for a few years and reinvent the game, go back to basics, becasue all this gimmicky crap is embarassing.
Supposedly Unleashed is "back to the roots", even though even that has gimmicks, plus that werewolf shit, which is hardly "back to the roots". There remain the optimistic ones though, but how many times have they already been optimistic about the one after the other that turns into crap? Sega has truly forsaken us. Seriously, who's buying all these new games? Why are they getting sales and convinced that people like this? I can't believe no one stopped buying anything after Sonic Adventure 2 like I did.
Seriously how stupid are sega! Sonic needs a sword as much as he needs a bicycle Forget all the silly gimmicks, forget all the extra characters ad storyline. Simply make a game with a normal sonic in it, and just concentrate on creating really well designed levels, its not hard! Sonic in Space could have been great, as was done in a Saturn? prototype, pity Mario has gone and done it now. The problem is dumb kids and old fans buy any old crappy sonic game, so Sega just keep churning them out.
The funny thing is Sega said that they wanted to take a break from Sonic for a few years, and then they come out with 3 new sonic games that all look gimmicky and like crap. I really wish they would just make Sonic the Hedgehog 4, similar to what Capcom is doing with Megaman 9

I'll rather have a Sonic game involving Zombies than this shit. Seriously, Sonic is going medieval now? why not 5 years ago during the LoTRs craze? or is it because of WoW? Lame...
I know its yet another "bad" idea by SEGA but we should hold off the slaging off till at least we see some in game images or footage before we get the pitch folks out. You never know maybe JUST maybe SEGA can make a good game. Times like this make me wonder why the fuck they haven't made another Shenmue or Jet Set Radio yet.....
