Was looking through ebay and came around this: http://cgi.ebay.com/4-Sonic-the-Hed...ameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem#ebayphotohosting Check out the logo! What is it?
According to the description, it's a kids' book that (I presume) was released around the same time as a certain later-to-be-cancelled Saturn game that features the Freedom Fighters. I doubt we'll get anything except a poorly-written story from this lot of books, but there might always be promotion for Xtreme and a few screenshots we've not seen elsewhere. Of course, we might not, either! I'm not exactly a great fan of Sonic X or the Freedom Fighters, and having our favourite/only blue hedgehog face Eggman in an extreme sports content sounds like the kind of desperate excuse for a plot Sega will probably end up recycling soon enough in its software...
There's still ice cream trucks that drive around my heighborhood selling Sonic X-Treme ice cream. Sega seems to have just let the name and that logo be used for various products without any relation to the game that wasn't even released. And once again 123klk shows off his ability for posting the most worthless things
yeah, sonic x-treme the book is a kids story based around the Sonic cartoon show that aired in America with the freedom fighters and was sold at school book fairs/clubs/ect. Still an uncommon piece of sonic merchandise, but nothing relating to the cancelled game I'm afraid And I can't help but think sonic ice cream would be, as f2bnp above said, 'blue streak blueberry' or something XD
