ARRRGGGHHH... Frustrating to no end. Took a superhuman effort to close down firefox (On Linux, of all things). Golf clap. Awesome joke.
Ban please. ---- To make things worse, like a dipshit I chose to "restore session" when I restarted Firefox. I can't wait for work on Monday though.
That was gay. I guess this is the first time I've been Rickrolled... never even heard of it until now. That link is definitely getting sent to all my friends on MSN.
Found this on the net for anyone who has never heard of this: To be rickrolled is, when browsing internet forums one comes across a link in a thread expecting to find one thing, but ends up at a website which has nothing to do with the topic being discussed in the thread. The name Rick refers to 80s pop singer Rick Astley. (I don't know why, hopefully some one can clarify further) Rick Astley is probably used because upon hearing his voice, many people assume him to be a large, black man. (No, actually it refers more to his dancing. Observe that Rick has only one move in which he almost "rolls" or rocks from side to side. Hence, you have been Rickrolled.) Then, when they see him, they are shocked to find just the opposite, a skinny, white man.
I can't help but think that people who make shit like this are sad lonley people with no lives. It wasn't funny at all, just anoying. As much as I liked that song in the 80's I don't want it dancing around my screen needing Alt, Shift and Delete to get rid of it. Yakumo
Its a retarded meme on a CERTAIN chan site. Guess which one? Actually, I THINK it originated on the World of Warcraft forums, and became some stupid internet phenomena quickly. Ashcraft did it on TV one day. EDIT: Oh, and Family Guy Rickrolled people in the 80s flashback episode. Rather quickly after the joke was around, I might add!
Rickrolled is not the worst, but the "shrimpjump" from 1983 is worse. Kloden Drejer by Gry Johannesen Without the English speaker And yes, I have that song on LP, but I got it for free, from somewhere else with a bunch of great LPs with a 7" version of The Final Countdown(on a real 7" single). And no I would never buy such a bad song. The translation of the title is "the globe is turning". But a song from the brother country in 1984 is this song about his golden shoes. Which is called Diggi-loo Diggi-ley so Rick Astley is not bad.
Damn, I couldn't find it in a better time. In my country 25/8 is Independence Day, so nobody works. But the big deal is 24/8 night, called "nostalgia night". It's a kind of retro night, all places playing disco music and stuff like that and sometimes people even goes dancing dressed like it still were the 70's/80's (it sucks in my opinion, you can't turn a radio or a TV on without listening songs like that).
People actually spend time on shit like this? Read a book, put more effort into your work, spend some time with your family, anything is better than making shit like this. A bit annoying if you have 15 tabs and have to reset your session.
