Apologies. I posted in the thread as I'd already PM'd and he agreed to let me know, but I haven't heard anything.

As you said, there's someone who posted that he will take it before you. I'm afraid you'll just have to wait - although another PM to find out if the sale went through after this long is perfectly acceptable.

I confirm the ps3 is still available.
I don't think it's fair on anyone to "claim" an item and/or ask for the seller to hold it, if you're not going to actually pay....

Over the years i have many trades here and a point i notice is that its not really clear when you write a pm or post here. I think it is the best for seller and buyer when we say first post is first in line and so on. Nothing behind. Then anything is clear for anyone. It doesn`t need any plugin or extras. The rest will do our feedback part.
Sorry for posting on your sales thread.
Good luck with your Sale! The uk Square-enix ps3 is cool, you try to recover the hdd? :)

If someone requests you put something aside until an agreed date but backs out on that date, I'd suggest the following:

    1. PM anyone else who had expressed an interest.
    2. Mark the item as available again on the post, and bump the thread with a note, too.
    3. Leave feedback on that person's feedback thread, saying they had agreed a date to pay for an item, then failed to pay on the day.

Feedback doesn't have to be good - if you've had a negative experience with a member, feel free to mention it.

Click on Advanced Search at the top, then click Search Single Content Type. In the first box (Keywords), type the user's name. Change the drop-down to Search Titles Only. It may be a good idea to also change Search in Forums to User Feedback Forum (scroll down, it's near the bottom).

If a search finds a thread, post your feedback in there. If not, go to User Feedback Forum and create a thread with that user's name as the title. Follow the usual template, but just mention they failed to pay.

We leave it up to the seller to specify whether they prefer a reply in the thread or PM. If, as in this case, the seller prefers a PM, that's fine - so long as they keep us updated in the thread that it's on hold or sold. It's probably more courteous to users to request a reply in the thread initially (you can subscribe to your thread if you can't be bothered to keep checking), as we then see who replied first. We don't require it, though
