Looks like they'll be slashing some of their product models in addition to 10,000 jobs. Also interesting is that they're forecasting a net loss of some $90 million usd for the fiscal year. http://www.macworld.com/news/2005/09/22/sony/index.php Oh well.
Maybe they are oding this so that their stock goes thru the roof when they release the PS3 in limited quanities and make it look so that they are making no losses during that fiscal year.
This isn't surprising considering the Sony Entertainment division has been holding the company up for years. ^_^_^
everything i buyed from sony so far died at least one time, minus my 36 inch WEGA TV, but i have it since December. Hope Nothing will hapen.
We can only hope that Sony starts to realize that making junk thats practicly broken before its packaging is even opened is no longer acceptable, and that they can only keep at it for so long before their name is mud in the eyes of consumers.
