im sorry if this is the wrong section to make a statement about this or if discussed before, i'd want to ask more info about sonys use of there factory made usb jigs and if there were existing files hidden that works up to 3.6x or 3.70 ofw like QA flaging set (without modifications) or if using an existing vsh.self from any firmware your using to downgrade or cross-grade on retail consoles? Never hear much more info about it, Sorry.

i mean't this thread to be as for a suggestion/help type, soory for the confusion :)

There is no file on the jig, you can still get to service mode on new devices, just you can't go out anymore. You can also downgrade possibly if you get a signed tool updater file from later SDK, signed for a newer version, which you most likely don't have.

If you don't have a NAND/NOR Flasher, I would suggest you back up from this idea as it might be kind of dangerous to the health of your device and doing backups is strongely advised.

Thanks for the information :) but anyways i've also heard you can use it to QA flag a Retail PS3 with it inside, is that true? because somewhere i've heard it was possible and cross-grading firmwares too right and play Homebrew and others if already installed or does it needed to be install with its correct pkg sdk version e.g 3.66 or 3.70? Thank You! :D

You need to tamper with the EID and certain changes like QA will invalidate if forced to it with the next update you do. Why is anyone so mad for this QA stuff in first place, it seems to me it is widley belived it is a relative to Jesus or something lol.

Lolz xD true but really the main reason why i wanted QA flag because ofmany things. 1. Being able to play homebrew on any and lastest ofw :)
    2. Lastly to be able to downgrade to any ofw i want too without the need for dumb hardware flasher to do so.
