Hi, I bought myself a Sony Pocketstation and transfered some Pocketstation Games from Japanese Games (like Crash 3 (JAP)). I also backuped this Crash Game via the USB PS3 Memory Card Adapter and installed some other Games which I found in the Internet onto the Pocketstation, that is actually working pretty well. Now I want to test the IR connection of the Pocketstation (I odered a second one just to test IR). Wiki says it is/was used (or designed) for multiplayer gaming and/or transfer of Save Games between two different Pocketstations without using a PSX. So my first question is: Which Pocketstation Games use the IR feature for multiplayer gaming or how do I transfer Save Games from one Pocketstation to another one via IR. (I don' know if this feature was even implemented by one of the Pocketstation software) Is there a homebrew that uses IR? So far I've tried the PDA Remote 1 and 2 but it seems that my TV is not supported (does somebody know which TV sets are supported) or if the PStwo slim is supported? It is from Sony (so perhaps is compatible) and has an integrated IR receiver, so it could work for the DVD player of the PS2?! According to http://nocash.emubase.de/psx-spx.htm#pocketstationioinfrared there are just two other options MGS Integral (when I press up in the main screen it says No Copy?!) and FFVII Chocobo World (which I will try in the next days). And my second question would be: Did somebody ever get a stable connection between two Pocketstations or used an Infrared Receiver on a PC to get connected with the Pocketstation? and if yes, which Infrared Receiver are compatible with the Pocketstation? Can I use any IRDA compatible IR Receiver? Sorry for the quite long text. EDIT: Ok, FFVII Chocobo World has a menu for IR transfer: So I would like to update the question if somebody knows a USB IRDA compatible IR receiver which will definitely work with the Pocketstation.
