Does anyone knows where can I find a list of blue, PS4 like label releases for the PS3? It seems that they used it for a while then rolled back on to the older design. The only game I know that uses it is Drakengard 3, but I'm not so sure since I don't own it. There's also a black label release of it if I'm not mistaken. http://i.imgur.com/BrboRMp.jpg
The ones i remember: - MLB14 The Show - Deception IV Blood Ties - Sports Pack Vol. 1 - Watch Dogs - Mugen Souls Z - Lego Hobbit They realized it was such a dumb move that it never started outside the US. I remember posting a topic about it. --> HERE
dc16 I was actually asking about which games Sony released with that design. I'd rather photoshop the older PS3 logo in them, but it is interesting to have in the collection nonetheless.
Yeah, that was the stupidest thing. Looking through Gamestop's website, I also found: Ultra Street Fighter IV Enemy Front Murdered: Soul Suspect Bound by Flame Wolfenstein: the New Order Not 100% sure if all those have it, I know USFIV and Murdered do.
Although there's promo pictures of those with the blue style covers, by the time they were released, they were already back to the black style.
I think Ultra Street Fighter IV came out with the blue spine. I'm pretty sure I saw a copy with this kind of spine. Next time I go to a store I will check. I think I saw one on Saraiva.
It's possible since Capcom games sold in Brazil are printed by Sony DADC Brazil. But if it exists, it would be a extremely low printrun. Sony discovered it was such a bad idea, not to mention the community backlash, so i doubt it lasted more than a month. Everytime i look for it, all i can find is the normal black style: http://produto.mercadolivre.com.br/...ighter-iv-4-para-ps3-novo-e-lacrado-pt-br-_JM
I see PS3 Blue Spine games on occasion. It makes sense that they switched back. They just look too similar to PS4 cases. I'm guessing that at least one high-ticket Blue Spine game caused confusion for people during a multi-plat/cross-gen release, where people ended up buying Blue Spine PS3 ports thinking they were buying the PS4 version of the game.
I'm not really sure. Murdered Soul Suspect released after Wolfenstein The New Order, defying logic already. Ultra Street Fighter IV would be a crazy 2 month gap.
Discovered another one, Everybody Dance 3. It seems it was a Latin America exclusive release: http://blog.br.playstation.com/2014...para-com-exclusividade-para-a-america-latina/ I wonder if i should even bother buying it. I don't think it's a game that will be sought after. And it comes in those crap Blu-ray cases Sony Brazil loves.
I want someone to explain to me what was the point in having this redesign? Was there a new PS3 revision coming out ? No. Are these games compatible with the PS4 ? No. Then why have this pointless redesign that just makes people confused ?
