I was listening to this video clip which was put on the BBC news site on 21st Nov.. http://news.bbc.co.uk/nolavconsole/ukfs_news/hi/newsid_4450000/newsid_4457200/bb_wm_4457256.stm The Sony guy Phil says PSP will dominate sales for the next *9* months. He said: "......PSP will be the number one putting money through the tills for the next 9 months..." This implies PS3 is not planned to be around until autumn 2006. Could this be a verbal slip on internal problems in deliverying PS3?
october 26, i'm pretty sure they'll use this date if they release it in the autumn, just ready for the birthday of the ps2 and pstwo.
there is no chance of a spring launch aka psp for 06, launching in summer is crazy, when was last time you seen a hit game or console launch then?....so autttum seems fine by me,...just dont let it be way over priced.....
PS3 Yo PS3 is going to be REALLY expensive. I bet they are lying about the price so people don't buy the 360. The 360 looks really sweet and i really want to get one.
Of course, you know that because the father of your friend, or even yourself, have a very high and important rank at sony. No one know either if the ps3 will be expansive or not. Actually, what they said is that the ps3 would be "REALLY expensive", not that it would be cheap. Saying this will could be a strategy, like anything else could be. Yeah, right, they said it would be expansive, They also said the ps2 would be able to do graphics comparable to the CGI you see in pixar movies.

yeah i have but there are nobreak out titles they are the same thing i can play on my system. I am hating cut down ports or to short of games and no wireless game play. Look at The DS and mario kart it isn't the shinest gem but that fucking game is fun and full wireless support. I don't think sony know what they are missing out on. My other problem is that i don't have anyone else around here to network with everyone i know has a ds.
yeah basically CNN reported the price thing, then it was retracted and they said "yeah erm, Stringer didnt say it, it was some guy in sony, some secret source we had, he said it yeah, we accidently said Stringer said it... whoops... yeah" then they did shifty eyes and legged it...
