Here's the product page. Apparently there's some Sony "standard" called PictureParadise, and using the included software you can print out images produced by software that supports the format. There's even digital cameras that support the format.
Those printers have been around for about 2 years now. They were originally used for some PS2 game to print out your images. It goes without saying that they didn't sell to well. Yakumo
