OK so I am a glutton for punishment and have ended up with three faulty PVM/BVM's.

I am not a stranger to board repair but I have only really worked on pinball machines (I know not to touch the Flyback). I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction to get started (or tell me if repair is hopeless).

Patient 1: A BVM-14F1U. The screen will flash a red saturation for a moment before going back to the proper color. The red is of varying brightness and the interval of the flashes is random and can be quite long. This happens with or without signal, but seems to happen less with signal.

Video: Sorry it is kind of subtle:

Patient 2: A PVM-14M4U the even and odd lines are out of alinement, giving everything a pincushion look. Deflection issue?

Patient 3" A PVM-14M2U, Color is all screwed up, like a magnet got taken to it. Degaussing issue?

Any help would be appreciated, even pointing me to a more appropriate forum to post.

1st one: check caps n resistors n pots on the red line.

    2nd: try adjusting h/v pots

    3rd: degauss.
