I hope someone here can help me out.

i got a sony PVM-2054QM a few weeks ago i have ordered all the right RGB cables but they have not yet arrived.
So i connected my PAL nes and PAL snes to the PVM using an BNC to RCA adapter so right now its connected using composite.
But after a few days of perfect, crips and colorful images the PVM only showed black and white images using my PAL consoles.
but when connecting a NTSC N64 it gave perfect color once again so i tryed multiple consoles ranging from nes/snes/psx/saturn etc.. all pal and none of them gave color anymore!
its like it does not detect the PAL signal because when connecting the NTSC N64 it shows it found a NTSC signal in the left lower corner of the screen.
but when i connect a PAL system it does not show that it found a PAL console in the lower left corner of the screen?

i already got into the service menu of the PVM and returned it to factory defaults but this did not fix the problem

so my question is does anyone know how to fix this problem?
or do any of you thing if i start using the right RGB cables this will fix the problem
    [SUB]
p.s. blue only is off on the PVM[/SUB]

Set the colour system manually in the menu. Does that work?

I think you can avoid the black and white issue of playing a PAL console by using RGB leads, but I'm not 100% sure on that.

Did you reset and power cycle? Has the display been unplugged since you got it??
This probably won't work but reset to factory and unplug the unit and let it discharge for an hour or so, turn on with no inputs connected then plug the nes in..

i already ordered the DIY BNC plugs but they still not in from china so when they get in ill try to create my own scart > bnc rgb cable and i also hope this will fix the problem somehow :(

yeah already tryed this i kept i of the power for at least a week when i went on holiday and after that still nothing :( the weird thing is it works perfect with NTSC consoles but not with PAL while it did work with PAL before
