I'm not sure where the correct area would be for posting RGB monitor questions.
    Hopefully this area will work.

I recently purchased a Sony PVM 20m2u RGB BROADCAST Monitor.
My overall plan is to display several classic consoles via RGB. Genesis / SNES / PS1 etc.
Currently I am waiting for the proper scart cables to arrive in the mail.
In the meantime I am using Svideo and composite.

    Here is my concern:
Composite looks good for what is. Better display than cheap CRTs
But I'm running PS1 via Svideo and the flicker is very disappointing thus far. I tried different cables and another PS1 console.

the "flicker" isn't horrible, most wouldn't notice but I find it most distracting on high contrast areas. i.e white text on a dark background. It's like a flutter of the bright highlighted areas. bouncing a few millimeters. Very noticeable on the PS1 main menu.

Should I be concerned? I hope RGB signals display better..

****UPDATE: With proper RGB cables this TV is amazing. The s-video and composite is ok. It seemed that the PS1 give more flicker than other consoles. All in All amazing purchase and I am happy***
