Or maybe there will be digital manuals on the PS Classic and include that. Maybe just because of MGS they'll have the jewel case back artwork viewable on the games.
I don't see the manuals being on the system it would more than likely be how its on the nes and snes classic you scan a QR code and then you get access to the manual.
Apparently it was runs the open source pcsx emulator! https://www.howtogeek.com/fyi/the-playstation-classic-is-powered-by-the-open-source-pcsx-emulator/
They've used their own POPS emulator for PS1 games before on PS2 (online only), PS3, and PSP. I'm surprised they aren't using it this time. I wonder what OS this is running.
Really feels like they should've just included a disc drive at that point. Or offer the option to buy digital games because you know that thing is capable of playing more. Same thing if they had used Pops. Sony seems really out of touch with this stuff and doesn't seem to care. Same with lack of PS1 compat on PS4 and the lack of more PS2 releases.
Would you believe it. Sony go and publicise the all new PlayStation Mini Classics but forgot all about their PS4 console. ....... Oh, Wait.... It's not official, as if you couldn't tell (^_^)
I wonder if loading CD images outside of the included ones is possible. Can someone with a unit test this?
who knows maybe someone needs to try loading some iso's on a usb drive and see if you can load from that drive
