Sony TVs can catch fire yet no recall

    All the parts, yes, but final build tends to happen in more random places (in Europe final build tends to happen in Eastern Europe e.g.: Bulgaria and Hungary - I would say use caution with the Hungary-made products as the build quality is a bit off).

    I've got a Sharp Aquos personally, 32".

    Commodore 1081 and ASUS VK246H for gaming though.

    I always thought that too but now I don't. In my home we have a 50 inch Sharp Aquos and a 42 inch Toshiba Regza. Both are LED screens yet I honestly think that the Toshiba has the better blacks and more vibrant colours. Both look just as sharp as each other and have just as good viewing angles and screen updates but the colours are what you notice. Also, the Sharp Aquos has a longer delay changing channels although it cleverly distracts you with some fancy screen swipes when changing channel.
